Christ Community Church would love to serve our local community with a "Parents' Night Out."  Children will enjoy an evening of fun activities, games and crafts while their parents get a night to enjoy on their own. Thank you for this opportunity to get to know your child and provide you with a relaxing evening. We are honored to serve you and your family.

Sign In and Out Procedures

To ensure the safety of all children, parents must sign their children in and out. Without notification, children will not be released to any individual other than the parent or guardian listed on the Registration form.

Parents' Night Out volunteers may ask to see your driver's license before releasing your child. Driver's license numbers for all persons authorized to pick up children must be included on the Parent's Night Out registration form.

For children's safety, Christ Community Church Parents' Night Out reserves the right to refuse the release of any child to a person who appears incapacitated to the extent he/she may endanger the child.

Health (When Not To Bring Your Child)

We want to ensure that all of our children have a fun, safe night with us. Please do not bring your child if:

  • Your child's temperature is 100 degrees or higher.
  • Your child has been exposed to a contagious disease, such as chicken pox.
  • Your child has a runny nose with green mucus.
  • Your child has other signs of illness within the last 24 hours. This includes vomiting, diarrhea, or pink eye.

If your child shows any signs of illness during the event, the Parents' Night Out supervisor for the evening will call you immediately. We will also contact you if your child becomes extremely upset and is inconsolable.

Injury

We provide a variety of activities during our event, including some that require physical exertion. While we will take all necessary precautions, accidents do happen. If your child has an injury that requires more than a hug or a Band Aid, we will give you a full report of the event. In case of a more serious injury requiring immediate medical attention, you will be called immediately.

Medication

Please be sure your child has all of the necessary medications prior to dropping them off for the evening. No medication will be given during Parents' Night Out. Our volunteers will only perform medical procedures in cases of emergency.

If your child has a special need, please let us know on your registration form.

Discipline

Discipline must be individualized and consistent for each child, age appropriate and directed towards teaching the child acceptable behavior and self-control.

During Parents' Night Out events, we will only use positive methods of discipline. If extreme inappropriate behavior is exhibited, the parent or legal guardian will be called.

Snacks

Light snacks are offered during our event, however parents should feed their children dinner before dropping them off. Please be sure to note any food allergies on the Child Information Form.

Safety

For your child's safety, all of our Parents' Night Out volunteers are required to fill out an application and agree to a background check. Most of our volunteers are trained in CPR and First Aid in case the need arises.
