The purpose of this Church is to bring glory to God and expand His kingdom through the work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross! By God’s sovereign grace, our primary objective is to love God and love others through:

• Knowing Jesus Christ by actively learning and living the Bible
• Experiencing Jesus Christ by connecting with and caring for His community of believers
• Loving Jesus Christ by developing a lifestyle of Spirit-led prayer and worship
• Serving Jesus Christ by using our gifts in ministry
• Sharing Jesus Christ by boldly demonstrating and declaring His whole gospel to the world

Our Core Values

Intimacy With God

“Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.”     John 17:3
Our primary purpose is to grow in our relationship with God as we marvel at His holiness, revel in His grace and glorify Him in everything we do.  We seek to pursue Him because He first loved us and sought us through the death of His Son Jesus!

Sound Doctrine

“Watch your life and doctrine closely.  Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.”  I Timothy 4:16
We treasure the Bible as God’s inspired word and gladly submit to its authority.  We’re convinced it is completely sufficient to guide us in all areas related to our faith and practice.  Understanding what the Bible teaches is very important.  That is why we devote ourselves to personal devotions, Sunday messages, Bible studies and Home Care Groups!

Genuine Relationships

“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love.  Honor one another above yourselves.”     Romans 12:10
Real friendships are very rare in today’s individualistic, self-centered culture.  That is why at Christ Community Church we seek to break the norm by serving and caring for one another.  We believe that it is important to have close, honest and accountable friendships in order to grow together in Christ.  We need each other!

Beholding Jesus’ Beauty

“One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek Him in His temple”  Psalm 27:4
We realize that spending our lives privately and corporately gazing at the beauty of Jesus in worship and prayer is the only thing needed.  We value passionate, expressive worship and prayer as our hearts are moved by the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is vital for us to participate in worship!

Life In The Holy Spirit

“After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken.  And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.”     Acts 4:31
We desperately need the power of the Spirit.  He counsels us, comforts us, convicts us of our sin and empowers us for ministry.  He opens our eyes to the gospel, guides us into the truth and gives power to overcome temptation.  He gives us spiritual gifts for ministry!

Mission

“… go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”  Matthew 28:19-20a
Our mission at Christ Community Church is to proclaim the good news about Jesus to the world through actively living and speaking the gospel on a daily basis.  It is vital for us to sacrifice our time, gifts, and resources for the sake of God’s kingdom!
